I have gotten great results
I have worked with a number of personal trainers over the years and Dan is the best. Simply, Dan is a “Pro”. There are a lot of fitness freaks who really do not know how to design a training programme depending upon the client’s physical condition and goals and much less how to execute with a client - Dan does! More importantly, Dan makes it fun to work out - he is always on-time, he is always positive, and he adapts his programme to suit your needs. I have gotten great results.

I recommend him to anyone (who does not want my time spot!)

I decided to go for personal training because I was in a rut with my training and wasn’t improving. Dan has encouraged me to push myself and to far exceed my previous goals without ever making me feel overwhelmed.

He’s helped me build up a wide range of new techniques for building up strength, developing my running and improving my diet as well as ways to stretch and avoid injury. The variety has helped me to stay enthusiastic. I really look forward to each training session because I know that at the end I’ll feel I’ve worked hard - but enjoyed myself too.

I am about to race competitvely for the first time in 16 years and my motivation level is higher than I thought possible. I’m even considering running a marathon. I really recommend training with Dan because he has the experience to tailor your training to get you the results you want. He also gives realistic, practical advice and lots of encouragement which will help you to stay motivated and train more effectively between sessions too.

I started working with Daniel last summer (2004) just before my 39th birthday having never really done any exercise in my life. I have a busy demanding job and I often spend long hours sitting down whilst working.

I decided that if I was going to avoid an irreversible decline into stress and ‘unfitness’ related health problems I had to take some action. I asked Dan to help me achieve an acceptable level of general fitness and strength. Over the last year I have trained with Dan about twice a week.

There is no doubt in my mind that it has been a total success and the benefit to me has far outweighed the cost and time it has taken up. I now regularly go out with Dan for a 30 minute run (with a bit of walking in the middle!). When I started I couldn’t jog for even a full minute. I have also slowly increased the level of the strength exercises so that I now really enjoy them and feel stronger and just better in my body generally. I have more energy too.

Dan is a great teacher and supporter. He is always careful to plan appropriate sessions and takes care never to expose me to risk of injury. I always go at a pace which stretches me but never too far. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Having had considerable experience with personal trainers in the past, I am quite fussy! She really knows her stuff, pushes me hard, and is always very encouraging. She also creates a lot of variety within our workouts, which keeps me on my toes. I am delighted with the progress I have made.
