A lot of people like the idea of Personal Training but find it doesn’t suit their individual situations. It might be the cost of a trainer coming to you for an hour or more each week is too much. It might be that you cannot commit your diary to these hours on a regular basis or struggle to find a trainer to work with you when you are free to workout. It might be, simply, that your motivation is sky high and all you need is some direction and a point of contact to refer to.

At Thames Fitness we are aware of these issues and would like to introduce you to the Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer; a service providing you with just the right balance.

Your Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer is a fully qualified Personal Trainer (the same person you would see if you had a Personal Trainer take you through the session). All trainers working on the Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer programme are listed on the Register of Exercise Professional (REPS) and on the National Register of Personal Trainers (NRPT).

Yes, your Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer is a real personal who you can talk to on the phone and contact via email; not an automated response from a computer churning out standardised programmes.

In short, you get all the input of programmes tailored to suit you, an in-depth consultation, ongoing feedback and results orientated training guidance. You just don’t meet the trainer.

Here’s how it works:

Step One: Contact us
Use the contact form here to send us the following information:

Name, Address, Date of Birth and an outline of your exercise history (what you have done over the last year or so) and your goals (what you want to see from your training). Don’t forget to include your contact numbers!

Step Two: Telephone consultation:
Your trainer will call you to discuss your requirements. During this call they are building a picture of where you are today and where you want to get to with your training. This is a key part of the programme as it ensures that any workout schedules delivered to you are totally focussed on helping you to achieve your goals. This consultation takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

Step Three Getting Started
Get started with your first programme emailed to you direct from your trainer. Each week you email feedback to your trainer and receive your next programme. It’s up to you how often you get emails (weekly, fortnightly, etc). The important this is feedback. The programmes you receive are tailored to suit your individual needs and any changes and progressions made are based on the feedback you give the trainer.

Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer comes complete with unlimited email communication meaning you are never alone. You can email questions in whenever you want and feedback will come through promptly.

Thames Fitness Virtual Trainer is available to you for just £35 per month (less than £9 per week!) and if you sign up for 6 months we’ll reduce the cost to £30 per month.
